Pam Romney GRI has resided full time, in the BVI since 1969, she has been selling and renting British Virgin Islands property and homes in Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Cooper Island, Great Camanoe, Jost Van Dyke and Beef Island since the 1970's, when she started Island Real Estate Ltd. which is still located at Tropic Aisle Building, Road Town, Tortola, BVI.
Capt. Vic, a.k.a. Victor Hartlen, has resided over 30 years in the BVI, on land and on the sea. Capt. Vic teaches American Sailing Association courses, does charter work, as well as deliveries. He is the Hurricane Warden for Paraquita Bay, thru the Marine Association of the British Virgin Islands. Victor helped design and develop the beach and restaurant now called Ocean 7, at Bottomwood Bay, Peter Island, BVI. Capt. Vic ran the commercial tug, on the extention of the airport, ran a marina. Born in Nova Scotia, grew up maintaining a historic property in Halifax, went on to renovate several Victorian Homes in Halifax, finally found his love of the sea and sailed to the British Virgin Islands in 1979. And has been land and sea based ever since, particapating in community service, Yacht Club, Marine Association, and is a Marine Surveyor and also is an Electronic Engineering Tech. He had Off-Shore Rescue Canadian Coast Guard on the East Coast of Canada, and ran a fleet of boats on the West Coast of Canada, in the Gulf Islands, Ambulance boat, Pilot Boats and Water Taxi Service. Everyone who knows Capt. Vic, knows he is professional, ethical, a people pleaser and has vast knowledge of the BVI. We are excited to have Capt. Vic join our team at Island Real Estate.
Paul Backshall has lived in the BVI since the 1970's. During that time he has served as President of the Rotary Club of Tortola, Chairman of the Hotel and Commerce Association (Chamber of Commerce), President of the Belmont Home Owners' Association and Publisher of The BVI Welcome Tourist Guide and the Limin' Times. He has also experienced building, buying and selling 3 homes in the BVI, which makes his credentials complete to ably assist you buy or sell in the BVI.
